You have a blog and you have been writing it for weeks, maybe even months or years, but the traffic is low. You put in time and effort, so where are the hordes of people who should have found your content by now? Where is your audience?
Blogs are rarely fragmented. They need daily work that goes beyond writing and publishing to reach a growing audience and maximum views.
Six main areas of blog traffic growth: Calendar, content, social media, engagement, SEO and advertising. Each segment offers a number of methods that can and should use to increase traffic at supersonic levels.
Create an editorial calendar: Create a written calendar and stick to it. This could be a letter from Monday to Friday, for example, and might even include different subjects or topics for each of the days involved.
Regularity: If your editorial calendar is set, do not deviate from it under any circumstances. If you are planning a vacation, write messages and schedule them for the days when you will be away.
Search engines track your schedule: When you start posting regularly and with a certain frequency, search engines will start crawling your site with the same regularity. Your publishing schedule sets a schedule for the search engine robots. Imagine that!
Know your stuff: If you are writing about how to get rich on the Internet, and in reality you have negligible money and do not know anything about online business, readers will find out. Know your audience: The people who are interested in your blog topic are your audience. This can vary from post to blog post. Lists: With bulky articles, people can get bored, which in turn can lead to high bounce rates. Break your content down into smaller, readable parts, such as lists and short information blocks within subheadings.
Evergreen: Make sure your articles stand the test of time. The blog post “Best Places to Eat in Portland, Maine,” written a decade ago, will probably have nothing to do with the day when restaurants come and go. Either update the outdated posts (updating them annually) or write “evergreen” posts that will last.
Invited contributors and publications: Reward guests with posts from people who are admired or well known in your area. In the same vein, suggest posting guest posts (with backlinks) on blogs related to your industry.
Inspire curiosity with a great title: Publishing a blog post to social media will display the title and snippet. This title should be awesome. Create a compelling blog title that will get people to follow the link urgently. They should know more!
Find your people: Find groups and communities on social media platforms dedicated to your interests or variations. When you find your people, share your messages there and like-minded people will follow you.
Social media buttons: Add social media buttons to blog posts. This makes it easy for people who want to share your information.
Share old content with yourself: Recently updated content or blog posts that suddenly become relevant again can be posted on social media. Consider using this strategy at least once a week.
Use a comment system: Allow readers to leave comments and encourage the use of your comment system by asking readers questions and / or their opinions.
Use giveaways: Contests and giveaways can have a viral effect, especially if you set an entry requirement requiring the post to be posted, liked, or tweeted.
Use USG (User Generated Content): Bloggers usually collect information about the US government through Reddit. Ask people from your interest groups and use their answers. The same method can be used on other social media platforms.

Write long articles: If you are looking for higher search engine rankings, write long articles – the longer the better. Google places an almost disproportionate weight on longer articles – the more information, the better.
Spend money: Advertising online can cost a lot of money, but the bids are worth it when you’re building an audience. Online advertising sends targeted traffic straight to your site, readers who are genuinely interested in what you have to say. This should definitely be considered.
